Sunbrella fashion debuts on runway

Sunbrella’s new Ruggiero Couture Collection made its debut on the runway, an atypical method of showcasing the performance fabric. Designer Joe Ruggiero created 16 outfits sewn from his fabrics collection and showed them off at the Fashion al Fresco show he hosted in Scottsdale, Ariz. Apparel ranging from pool loungewear to eveningwear was showcased, and the fabrics’ color and design could be applied to a variety of apparel, from saris to kimonos.
