Help1Up seeks donations from industry

Help1Up, the industry-backed charity that supports furniture banks around the country, is making an appeal for donations.

Tax-deductible donations through the charity to the nonprofit National Furniture Bank Association are used to open new furniture banks and expand the service capacity of existing ones. Furniture banks collect used furniture from the public and give it to families in need. Typical recipients include mothers and children escaping domestic violence, victims of natural disasters, and working families living in poverty.
