Outdoor products' popularity on the rise
Upholstery Journal | February 2008
U.S. demand for outdoor furniture and grill products will increase four percent annually to $7.5 billion in 2011, benefiting from growth in the number of households and the increasing popularity of outdoor living areas. Consumer lifestyle trends, such as spending significant time at home and outdoor rooms, will support gains as consumers continue to trade up to better products.
These and other trends are presented in “Outdoor Furniture & Grills,” a new study from The Freedonia Group Inc., a Cleveland-based industry market research firm.
