Simplicity inspires upholsterers

Many trends are inspired by the past, and the latest trends in furniture upholstery are no exception. Upholsterers are incorporating more hand-woven materials such as linen and hemp into their designs to give furniture a vintage look with a modern twist. Burlap flour and feed sacks complete with custom stenciling and stripes set in sophisticated wood frames are also being used to craft pieces that are elegantly simple.
