Leather producer gets certified for eco-friendly practices

Gruppo Dani, a producer of leather products, received an Environmental Product Balance Certification (BAP) from the Istituto di Certificazione della Qualita per l’Industria Conciaria (ICEC). The company was the first and only company to earn the certificate after an extensive assessment of the life cycle of its products. The evaluation included a review of the company’s use of raw materials, its manufacturing process, product distribution and performance, and the recyclability of waste produced by the entire process.
