Due to increased growth, textile manufacturers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are optimistic about the textile industry. While the MENA textile industry is expected to grow by 8 percent annually, a recent report by the U.S. Federal Reserve shows U.S. textile mill output was down by 12.1 percent in 2007. Egypt, the MENA region’s most important market, is achieving an annual average growth rate of 6.5 percent.
