Glen Raven unveils name of distribution division

Glen Raven Inc. unveiled the name for its new distribution division: Tri Vantage LLC. Last May, Glen Raven acquired The Astrup Co. and John Boyle & Co., two of the nation’s largest distributors of fabrics, hardware and finishing supplies for the awning, marine, sign and casual furniture industries.

“Though the name is new, we are well known with a rich heritage of leadership in the specialty fabrics industry,” said Harry Gobble, President and General Manager, Tri Vantage LLC. “Through Tri Vantage, we have woven the strengths and capabilities of three great companies together to provide the highest level of product innovation and the best service possible to our customers.”

Tri Vantage employs more than 300 people within 19 offices across North America. Customers will find an expanded line of products, fully stocked inventory at each of its state-of-the-art distribution centers, same-day service capabilities and an enhanced online ordering process.

In March, the company launched a new web site, www.trivantage.com. Located within the main site, a new purchasing system features more product detail, photos, color swatches and real-time pricing.
