Custom-printable, water-repellent fabrics

Deko-Tex Lotos from Pacific Coast Fabrics can be printed for custom patterns on upholstery or umbrellas. Digital printers typically have problems printing on water-repellent textiles because inks and dyes are equally repelled. Deko-Tex overcomes this by activating the water-repellent characteristics during the heat calendaring process, after the material has been printed.
