One Good Chair design contest

The third-annual One Good Chair design contest is now accepting submissions. With a focus on lounge chair and casual seating, this year’s theme of “Minimum/Maximum” challenges designers to create a large, yet comfortable, furniture piece.

The contest is open to all designers age 30 and under. Submissions should feature original designs that have not been previously manufactured or are commercially available. The registration deadline is May 1, with a $30 fee. The late registration deadline is June 15, at a cost of $60.
