3M and Castar Companies form agreement

The 3M Protective Materials business signed a brand licensing and product supply agreement with Castar Companies LLC. Castar will now offer Scotchgard Protector products under the brand NuGuard Surface Protection featuring Scotchgard Protector. Castar develops and markets products and services in home textile fashions and aftermarket furniture care.

  Effects on price

  Will this licensing agreement increase the costs of the Scotchguard surface protection product? What benefit does this bring to the consumer?
