General Motors layoffs

In a move from trucks to cars, General Motors will be cutting approximately 3,350 workers from pickup truck and SUV plants in Flint and Pontiac, Mich., Janesville, Wis. and Oshawa, Ontario. The result will be a reduction of big truck and SUV production by 140,000 units a year.
