Pulse-heating fabric cutting system
Upholstery Journal | June 2009
Creel-mounted synthetic fabric cutting systems from Novaseal use a two-stage pulse-heating cutting method, rather than knives or a heated die. Spider webbing effects are eliminated because of this method, plus smoke is minimized because cutting time is reduced to a fraction of a second. Cutters can also be manually operated.
