The Small Business Administration (SBA) will receive about 10 percent, or $730 million, of the $787 billion economic stimulus bill for credit to small businesses feeling recession pain.

The SBA budget is bolstered so the federal agency can improve lending and investment programs for small businesses to have an easier time acquiring credit. Tax credits for operating losses, equipment, hiring and capital gains will also be available.
