Round booths, straight banquettes and back cushions required vertical darts to eliminate wrinkles, creating a challenge in pattern matching. Care was taken to match the pattern on the banquettes’ sloped backs when placed back-to-back. The banquettes intersect the circular booths and sloped inserts match the outside back curve. Fifteen seating components were assembled in less than a day. This design was created using CAD. This project will be used in a dining hall at Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Mass.

Judges comments: Awesome design. Smooth, sleek, futuristic style. Professional workmanship.
