ASTM course on flammability standards for upholstered furniture

The ASTM International “Flammability Standards for Upholstered Furniture, Mattresses and Bedding in the U.S.” course will take place Oct. 26–27th at the Greensboro, N.C. Airport Marriott.
The course provides a basic understanding of mandatory and voluntary flammability performance and quality control test standards for upholstered furniture, mattresses, mattress and box spring sets, and bedding (bed clothing) offered for sale in the United States. Both open flame and smoldering tests will be covered.
The cost is $895 and includes course notes, copies of referenced documents, a 1-year membership in ASTM and Committee D13 on Textiles or Committee E05 on Fire Standards, course completion certificate with 1.4 CEUs, and refreshment breaks.
