New abrasion-resistant polyurethane process
Upholstery Journal | October 2009
Nuwa Textiles has a patent pending process that increases abrasion resistance by more than 450 percent compared to conventional polyurethane coatings. The process, known as NuHyde, fuses a protective layer into the yarns of the fabric, which creates a barrier that doesn’t compromise the tear and tensile strength of the fabric.
