Furniture imports down

Furniture imports are down 19.2 percent from a year ago. The drop is expected to continue throughout the next year and essentially reverse a gain in imports seen in 2008. Containerized shipments of residential and contract furniture, as well as furniture hardware and fixtures, are included in this data.
